Chief Electrical Inspector for the city of Bakersfield, California
Pete Jackson is presently the chief electrical inspector for the city of Bakersfield, California. Following college, he served a four-year apprenticeship as an inside wireman through the Kern County JATC, attaining the status of journeyman wireman in 1984. Pete holds five electrical inspector certifications through the IAEI and ICC. He instructed apprentice and journeyman electricians through the Kern County JATC for seven years. Pete holds memberships in IAEI, NFPA, ICC, IBEW and serves as an AHJ representative on over twenty Standards Technical Panels for UL. He represents the IAEI as a principle member of NEC Code-Making Panel 8.
